Refers to the acupuncture treatment in the subordinate and auxiliary status of the disease, or some disease is unclear etiology, disease resistant, and is currently in the exploratory stage of comprehensive therapy, acupuncture can relieve some symptoms, but can only be used as a method of comprehensive treatment, it is difficult to play a dominant role in treatment, can be called “acupuncture assisted or synergistic treatment of disease spectrum”.
